Out of the Hat - News from the Lady Principal

Welcome back to the final term of 2018, a short and busy term which involves a full set of exams for the girls in November.

During the holiday, several girls went on a scuba diving course which they thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you to Les Willows for accompanying them. Les is currently in Cradock with girls taking part in the Fish River Canoe Marathon; another wonderful opportunity for them.

The School Council for 2019 has been announced (see blog post on Wednesday 3 October) and I look forward to working with the girls.

Next Friday, 12 October, will be an eventful day, as it is the current Grade 12s final day and Valedictory Service, followed by the Induction Service for the Grade 12s of 2019.  I wish the Grade 12 class of 2018 well for their final exams.  They are well prepared and are more than ready for the final hurdle.

The Parents’ Association is hosting their annual fundraiser at school this evening, an open-air cinema night, which the whole family can enjoy. I look forward to seeing you there.

Have a great term.

Lady Principal
