Grade 3s visit Umgeni Valley

The Grade 3s spent Friday morning on an outing to Umgeni Valley. It was a beautiful winter’s day and the girls had a wonderful morning doing African crafts, exploring a nature trail and carrying out water experiments.

The highlight was definitely the time spent looking for insects and water larvae in the river. There were squeals of delight as they put their toes into the icy water.

One of the girls was overheard to say “This is actually the best day of my life!” and another was convinced that her Minnow Fly larvae were actually baby crocodiles!
