Grade 3's knit for Eden Kids

The Grade 3 girls have been learning how to knit and are making scarves for the children of Eden Kids Community Centre which is the Grade 3 outreach project.

After learning about Nelson Mandela and “67 minutes for good” they decided to do “67 stitches for good” and started knitting! It has taken a while to learn this skill.  However, despite dropped stitches, extra stitches and really tight tension, the girls have made wonderful progress and some bright, warm scarves have already been created.

The girls will be meeting some of the children they have knitted for on Saturday 26 August.

Cycling news

Sarah Ryan, participated in the KZN Spur Schools Series recently, where she won her age group.  She also took part in the Illovo Eston MTB Challenge, where she won her age group and had a personal best time for 60km.
